PRATNA NATASHA RAM AAS., BA., R.Ac, TCMP, DTCM (2021)

Pratna Natasha Ram is the CEO and a practitioner at MINDBODYSHEN Integrated Medicine and Wellness Practitioners. Her educational journey began at Douglas College, where she took a particular interest in general sciences, athletic training and rehabilitation. She continued her ambitious pursuit at Simon Fraser University where she studied human biomechanics and kinesiology, which landed her an internship as athletic trainer for Varsity teams at Simon Fraser University.

While at Simon Fraser University, her curiosity steered her into global issues related to public health and human rights, which coincided with a life altering accident. Many physical and personal challenges presented itself, however, it also connected her true undertaking: to support and educate others in her community whole-body and whole-heartedly.

With great determination, she completed her post-secondary studies, and was accepted into Natural and Traditional Chinese Medical schools, which started her path into alternative and complementary medicine. During her studies, she was elected President to lead a group of Canadian medical students into South America, Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2019 and travelled to Asia to complete a doctoral medical internship.

Aside from Pratna Natasha Ram’s educational background, was raised in the beautiful city of Surrey, British Columbia, where she proudly serves her community. She has been involved in multiple local and global outreach programs as an educator and facilitator. She is an advocate for human rights and a proud ally. She enjoyed composing music as DJ NatuRealiste, which was her creative outlet for a greater part of her educational journey. She truly believes when studying medicine, education is life-long, the greatest teacher is patient, and a doctor who is receptive of their lessons, can be a master their personal approach to health and wellness.

ASHLEY KALIC

Ashley is a mom of two little boys, a wife, and an Intuitive Reiki Practitioner. Ashley first discovered Reiki when her rescue cat had difficulty letting humans go near him. In her quest for solutions, she came across an animal Reiki practitioner, and hired her to conduct a session with her cat. As the practitioner explained the healing process, Ashley realized that she had already been practicing similar energy work using crystals for years.

Ashley went on to become certified in all three levels of Usui Reiki and has been providing energy healing for over 12 years, supporting both humans and animals. She helps clients learn to connect to their own divine energy system through her guidance during healing sessions. Ashley works with animal energy in a similar way; clearing any energetic blockages to allow the animal’s body to relax into a neutral state.

BALROOP HUBLEY

Balroop first discovered Reiki several years ago when she was struggling to balance full-time work, family life, and the symptoms of peri-menopause. Reiki helped her immensely. And a few years ago when her mom passed away, Reiki helped her work through the grief and process this devastating loss. It has brought harmony and balance back into her life. As a result, she is passionate about all things Reiki and helping other people on their healing journeys and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Balroop strongly believes that daily stress and trauma that is left untreated can manifest itself into physical ailments and disease. By bringing the mind and body into balance the body’s own healing abilities are activated and healing on all levels can take place.

Her compassion and kindness help clients feel at ease and she looks forward to being a part of their healing journey.

FAHRIN MOHAMED ND

Dr. Mohamed has a firm belief that health is not linear but dynamic with many facets. Having gone through her own ailments, she realized that health is not about the physical body only, but a very integral part is the mind and body connection and what we feed our subconscious. Additionally, the intention of treatment and energy delivered to the patient is an integral part of the healing process.

Dr.Mohamed believes in micro steps that are manageable for the patient, but ultimately takes them to optimal health. Dr. Mohamed is keen and willing to help with any ailments. Her passions include vestibular disorders such as vertigo, weight management, anxiety management, IV Therapy and food sensitivity testing. To Dr.Mohamed, irrespective of whatever condition the patient has, the answer is balancing the body to heal optimally!

An integral part of Dr. Mohamed’s treatment plan is the zone technique. With only four other health practitioners certified in Canada, she applies this to most treatments and chose this certification because it balances the body and optimizes the mind and body connection. Learning from her own ailments, this is the philosophy that Dr.Mohamed governs her practice on.
